GiftClever runs a small, editorially controlled affiliate pilot with five reviewed products on Amazon.de. Where a product carries an affiliate link, clicking it and making a purchase may earn GiftClever a small commission from Amazon’s affiliate programme — at no extra cost to you. Gift directions are always based on fit first: the person, the occasion, the budget and your answers. Commission does not decide the match.

How affiliate links work

Affiliate links are only added to products that have passed editorial review. When a link is active:

• ·The product card clearly shows a live purchase link.
• ·Clicking the link and making a purchase may earn GiftClever a small commission from the retailer or affiliate network.
• ·This commission comes at no extra cost to you — the price you pay is the same.
• ·Affiliate commission does not influence which gift direction is recommended. Matching is always based on fit first.
• ·We will never recommend a product solely because it pays a higher commission.

How recommendations work

Gift archetype matching uses your answers to score fit across a set of archetypes. The highest-scoring archetype based on tag overlap, occasion, budget, and preference is shown as your result. This logic runs entirely in your browser. No server stores your answers. No profile is created.
