What data we collect

GiftClever runs the Gift Finder entirely in your browser. Your answers to the questions are not stored on our servers and are not associated with your identity. No account is required to use the Gift Finder.

If you contact us by email, we receive and store your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to your inquiry.

Analytics

GiftClever may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate — no individual tracking, no fingerprinting. This will be disclosed explicitly when any analytics provider is added.

Affiliate links

GiftClever runs a small affiliate pilot with reviewed products on Amazon.de. When you click an affiliate link, the merchant or affiliate network may process data and set cookies according to their own policies. GiftClever does not send your personal gift clues or free-text answers to merchants. See our affiliate disclosure for more information.
